Consul Ali Findik and historian Justin McCarthy will speak about Turkish American relations and Armenian Allegations in an event jointly organized by TurkishPAC and Turkish Heritage Society, in San Antonio, TX on August 30.

On this day, in 1896, a handful of Armenian terrorists raided the Ottoman Bank in Istanbul, in what the Armenian scholar Libaridian would later call "The first act of urban terrorism". These terrorists would set an example for similar acts that would follow in the 20th c.,

On this day, in 1897,  Armenian terrorists attempt three bomb attacks in Istanbul (then Constantinople). One of the bombs fail to explode. The second terrorist gets caught while he was trying to ignite the bomb. The third, unfortunately, succeeds and kills at least one person and wounds several others.

With their press release dated August 8, 2008, Turkish Coalition of America demands Armenian community to denounce death threats by radical Armenian Americans against members of congress and their continued campaign of harassment and intimidation of public officials.
